Executive Director

Chuck Lange, ASA

An Executive Director, appointed by the board, carries out the
board's directives, presides over the ASA staff, and works
solely for the 75 sheriffs. The Executive Director holds
regional meetings throughout the state, which allow sheriffs to
discuss issues concerning their departments. The Director
also acts as the voice of the sheriffs, carrying out their
requests in the Arkansas State Legislature
